2010 is the 45th year of production of the Ford Transit in Britain. From just 78 derivatives in 1965, there are now over 600 Transit entities, providing a range of dedicated commercial vehicles to ensure there is a model for every possible job required. 

Sapphire is the classic gift given for 45 year anniversaries, and to celebrate the Transit brand success into 2010 - Ford have launched the Transit Sapphire. The vehicle offers all the benefits and features of a Transit but with enhance comfort and convenience.

Transit Sapphire is available in four variants

Transit 260 SWB Low Roof 2.2 TDCi (140PS) Sport Van

Transit 280 SWB Low Roof 2.2 TDCi (115PS) 

Transit 280 MWB Medium Roof 2.2 TDCi (115PS)

Transit 350 LWB Medium Roof 2.4 TDCi (115PS)

All Transit Sapphire models feature the same specification as the Transit Trend with the addition of air conditioning, silver painted grille, silver mirror caps and rear light guards.

All Transit sapphire models are available in the unique Ink Blue metallic paint, or can also be ordered in Frozen White, Panther Black or Sea Grey.
